Social History of Art

I'm an artist with an 'academic' background in drawing and painting.

I was accepted to undertake a postgraduate degree in to art reform in late Rennaissance/sixteenth century Italy and the contingency of the Carracci to these earlier/contemporary reformers like Girolamo Muziano and Santi di Tito- but had to put this on hold as my supervisor and much of the humanities dept lost their jobs in cuts to the University. 

My interest revolve primarily around italian art from Giotto through to what Jacque Thullier termed 'French Atticism.'
